Burrito Joe

Galvanize was approached by James who owns the Burrito Joe brand he had a burrito stall just behind the back of St Pauls Cathedral it had become extremely popular in the area he stayed open through the Covid shut down period and fed people that came into the city of London the word spread that he was open and he was inundated with customers which then gave him the idea to take on a shop front unit which is based in Bow Lane. As you can see in the images what was left from previous tenant the basement was tiled and very damp. We stripped it all back and plaster boarded the entire basement then added white rock hygienic cladding and new cap n cove grey anti slip poly floor was installed. A new consumer unit was installed in the basement by out electrical team three phase for the new machinery to be used by kitchen staff and a walk in fridge was fitted and new lighting through out.

Galvanize had several meetings before work commenced and produced some 3D images to show James the finished shop before we had started. Shop floor wasn’t in the great shape so again stripped everything back James had done nothing like this before, we guided him through at each stage to get a good of idea of what he wanted for his outlet. The walls were plaster boarded and plastered through out then we added brick slips to create the bare brick effect new lighting and power circuits were added along with a grey LVT floor hard wearing for customer use. The new counters were installed along with the kitchen units and a beautiful works tops made from solid laminate were carefully fitted along with the all-new fire alarm system and extraction to the kitchen below to finish the refurbishment.
